the power of IMAGE EDITING

I should be working on the next updates but, because I decided to work on sunday editing the set shot in the garden with Mina (you know, the one using the latex straitjacket and nylon stockings), I had a little time today. So, I tried to see which series I could remaster and I found those old pictures of Dana when we left Paris for few days years ago. When I published the pics in 2003, I had to use a strange and funky image editing to give a nice touch to the whole session … my camera was crappy and I was unexperienced about outdoor photography : at the result, I got lot of bad shots. Photo stuff changed a lot within the last years, even image editing software … so, I just spent one hour to see if Lightroom was able to do something better than my antique photoshop plugin to enhance an old picture and I would say “yes” viewing the difference between before and after sample ! I wanted to show you the result before starting to work on the whole series right now :)

Impressive. It actually looks like you were able to add fill flash after the fact. The result was definitely worth the time.

that's true, the result is really interesting ... lightroom is really a great software

Looks great! Nice that you were able to resuscitate these old images, and Dana is always welcome!
