The week is finishing and my updates are ready : I will make the whole stuff available tonight for members but, for now, here is a cool “behind the scenes” picture shot in 2004 with my model Liz and my assistant Dana. As you can see, Dana is bound on the picture … why ? At this time, there was a very playful atmosphere during photo sessions and Dana and I were always joking and teasing each other. So, regularly, I was used to trap Dana in my ropes even when she was there just for being my assistant : this job requires you work before and after the photography time, rarely in the middle. So, that day, I tied Dana in a comfortable way and told her she would be bound for two hours … and she had all these minutes to verify there was no escape to my ropework :) Of course, Liz enjoyed the joke and we got lot of smiles watching Dana fighting or simply waiting for being untied while we were shooting !
I didn’t post for last 3 days … nothing special to post : I am still working on the updates that should be finished today. But because I didn’t want to let you without something cool to watch, here is a “behind the scenes” video :) Sometimes, you loose lot of time with details : for the movie called “drunk woman”, I wanted to begin the story with Anaïs coming back at home after a party … as you will notice it, we did several takes :) In two words, I have good skills for photography but I am an average movie director ! But, finally, after few tries, I got the beginning of my video : we added some “action” to make the scene “realistic” and it was a nice way to introduce the following sequences (Anaïs drinking, reading, sleeping and, of course, bound in the living room) …
… and here is the final footage of the beginning : many thanks to Anaïs for her patience and acting (she’s not an actress but she did what I need, playing the girl tired and a little bit drunk), and to finish, let’s play a little game : there is one mistake in the final footage, can you find what is wrong ? here is another revisited picture for you : Lady Diva bound in my jungle on August 2005 … this shot has been taken before to photography a very popular picture (the one I use in the background of this page). Dressed with a bikini only, I tied your favorite pin-up with natural jute ropes before to expose her breast, I loved the idea the girl could keep a part of the bra between her teeth to fight against her nudity … again, this image tells a story : what do you think watching that picture ?
some series require more work than others : this set of pictures made recently with Miss Eskarina took me 12 hours of photoshop editing on saturday and sunday … no special reason except I try to minimize the differences of brightness and contrast between different images : it means several settings changing for each angle or framing : actual DSLR are better than previous cameras but they are a little bit sensitive and I am a maniac about picture quality. I also had a large amount of shots to edit : I will sort out the whole set tomorrow to get my final selection … for now, here is just a preview picture without ropes but you can click here if you want to refresh your memory about the shibari experienced by Eskarina :)
