behind the scenes VIDEO
Few days ago, I replied to an email sent from a french fan suggesting me to shoot more pictures before and after the photo session … it’s always interesting to get feedback and I explained him the reasons why, often, I don’t include these shots in a series. Mainly because my photography is known to be focused on quality, add shots with a bad lighting or make-up, room full of bags or wires wouldn’t be compatible with my obsession for quality. There is another reason : the girls working in front of the lens need to know you don’t push the limits too far … for example, if a woman begins to be really uncomfortable during a session, if her eyes become to be wet, you have to stop shooting because a difference exist between things you want to show and private stuff. I already censored myself or my assistant about capturing or publishing something which could be felt bad by the model. Last but not least, because a session needs a lot of energy for hours, I often push my models to their limits and I often stop when they are too much tired. In this case, you can’t take pictures about the girl who needs to know the public part is over … sometimes, the camcorder is still filming and you can get a nice video if everything is okay with the model. If you want to feel the atmosphere of a photo session finishing, this video shot in 2004 is a good example :) Dana spent hours in latex lingerie and enclosed in the catsuit just after, she was also bound with strict leather straps and she was really tired in the end … however, she didn’t stop to be cool and funny. Long time I didn’t hear news from Dana, I hope she’s going well : I loved to work with she even if we lived some bad times … It was nice to see her on my screen this morning like she’s in my memories : cool and sexy woman. It’s national day in France today, time for a small break after the rush for updates (the whole stuff will be available tonight) : tomorrow, I will prepare my shootings scheduled on thursday and saturday with Clara and Amélie. I will keep you informed !
